I am a massage therapist and an insatiable nerd on an endless hunt to understand how to help you feel better.

I come by my geeky tendencies honestly! Walking through a challenging decade of strange health stuff, and watching my family go through chronic inflammation and autoimmune disorders, my attention was called to understand health more deeply.

Imagine a 25 year old woman, excited and eager. Trying to build a massage practice and stay present to her clients, partner, family, and friends. But, she can hardly keep her eyes open throughout the day, and spends up to 2 hours a day stretching or (what felt like mostly unhelpful attempts at) resting to try and feel ‘normal’.

I suffered from crippling fatigue, infuriating cognitive function and memory loss (goldfish anyone?), intense head to toe achy feels, and my bowel movements were M.I.A.! So, the journey began to try any and all healthcare approaches. From exhaustion of the western medical system to paying top dollar privately for functional medicine. All while taking deep dives with psychologists, and even deeper explorations with energy healers, shamans, and hands-on therapy.Hormone replacement at age 22 (since my hormones were shot), assortments of medications, and all the supplements. I tried vegetarian, intermittent fasting, gluten free, keto, paleo, low carb/high fat, and even carnivore for a little while. Through all of this, and the privilege of guiding my clients in over 10 years of full time practice, I’ve learned there is no one size fits all approach.I’ve had the best success with clients when combining years of education in fascial work, lymphatic drainage, cupping, scraping techniques, and focused hands on techniques.

Add research in lifestyle guidance including mindfulness, light and sleep hygiene, and effective yet simple nutrition guidance. Also, I offer useful and applicable strategies for how to build strength and improve flexibility.Providing all the tools I can to help you feel better, faster. In collaboration, we work hard together to help you become pain free, and stay that way.I have experience working with autoimmune disorders - parkinsons, rheumatoid arthritis, MS, CIRS, IBS, and Alzheimers/dementia. I find clients suffering from chronic inflammation need a radically different approach to treatment.Aches and pains associated with an autoimmune response require gentle and attentive care, while still supporting the body to release pain and injury. This gentle but therapeutic approach is my favourite way to ensure my clients feel safe, heard, and not worried they’ll be ‘hit by a truck’ after the treatment! My favourite conditions to treat:Swelling; puffy hands and feet at the end of the day, water retention issues, and persistent swelling post injury/surgeryHeadaches and migrainesFatigueBrain fogVertigo/dizzinessChronic neck painConstipation/diarrheaHand painLow back painShoulder dysfunctionMy passion to understand your injuries and chronic pain inspires me to dive deep in anything related to naturally reducing inflammation. It’s my favourite place to be providing attentive, engaged, and efficient hands-on treatments that get you out of the clinic, and living your life!
